Women's Tennis
This year promises to be a great year for Women's tennis at Leeds Uni. We have 3 teams competing in the BUCS league - 1st team in the 1st division, 2nd team in the 2nd division and the 3rd team making their way up the division ladder.
In the last few years the 1st team have competed in the premier division and the club has been nominated twice for the University "Team of the Year" award. With our dedicated players and strong coaching set up, our aim for the year is for our 3 teams to gain promotion.
The 1st and 2nd teams train once a week at Batley Tennis Centre with our head coach Imogen Wyatt. Batley facilities are also used to play home games for the 1st and 2nd team.The 3rd team trains and plays matches on the courts in Hyde Park and is coached by a University coaching Scholar.
Two compulsory fitness session per week for the 1st and 2nd team are directed by the university's fitness coach. 3rd team members are encourage to attend the fitness sessions.
